Terms of using SooraConnect

1 Scope

SooraConnect helps accountants and business owners record vouchers on Android and sync them to TallyPrime running on their own Windows PC. These terms cover that service.

2 Your account

• You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure.
• You must be approved by an admin before you can connect your own Tally data. Demo companies are usable without approval.
• You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account.

3 Acceptable use

• Use SooraConnect for legitimate business accounting only.
• Do not reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense the service.
• Do not upload data you don't have a right to record.
• Do not attempt to bypass auth, scrape other tenants' data, or abuse the desktop agent.

4 Your data

Your accounting data belongs to you. We store it on Google Cloud in Mumbai (asia-south1) only to run the service. We don't sell it. We don't share it with advertisers. See the Privacy Policy for details.

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time  Ethat removes your Firebase Auth user, your user document, and all your company memberships.

5 Source of truth

TallyPrime is the source of truth for accounting records. SooraConnect captures vouchers on mobile and pushes them to Tally via the desktop agent. Once an entry is synced to Tally, the mobile copy is read-only. Edits made in Tally are pulled back on the next fetch.

6 Service availability

SooraConnect is a beta product. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We'll give reasonable notice for breaking changes.

7 Pricing & billing

Pricing is announced separately. Free during early access. We'll notify you in advance before any paid plan goes live.

8 No warranty

SooraConnect is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will detect every reconciliation issue. Always review entries before they go into Tally.

9 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SooraConnect is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability in any 12-month period will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in that period.

10 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

11 Changes

If we change these terms materially, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, surface a notice inside the app. Continuing to use SooraConnect after that constitutes acceptance.
